Szentháromság Square takes its name from the statue of the Holy Trinity at its centre. The monument was erected in the 18th century to commemorate liberation from plague epidemics. The Éber Memorial House in Baja showcases the artistic legacy of painters Sándor Éber senior and his two children, Sándor Éber junior and Anna Éber. The Türr István Museum has a different focus: a description of its permanent exhibition, dated January 2020, mentions prehistoric finds, finds from the Migration Period and the Avar period, as well as a fully excavated Sarmatian cemetery described as unique in Europe. The museum’s ethnographic exhibition also preserves an extensive textile collection featuring traditional costumes from the ethnic communities of North Bácska.

The Nagy István Gallery exhibits paintings by Nagy István, as well as works by contemporary artists from North Bácska and the local area. Alongside the permanent exhibition, the collection is complemented by three to four temporary exhibitions each year. These include works from the Oltványi Collection, members of the Rudnay Artists’ Colony and the Bajai Nagy István Művészeti Egyesület. Check the current programme before your visit.

The Boróka nature trail in Bugac is 1,100 metres long and features information boards and interactive stations, including a forest xylophone and a play telescope. A reconstruction of an Árpád-era village in Tiszaalpár depicts the settlement layout discovered during local excavations.
