Shabdan: Hotels and Accommodation

Shabdan is one of eight villages in Chon-Kemin National Park. The park associated with Shabdan encompasses riparian, coniferous, and mixed-forest ecosystems and is home to snow leopards, marals, and golden eagles listed in the Red Book.

Nature

The Chon-Kemin Valley and Chon-Kemin National Park are known for trekking, horseback riding, rafting, and eco- and ethnotourism. The park includes the Chon-Kemin River, mountain lakes, panoramic views, forest trails, and viewpoints.

Tours

Bilimkana Camp is located in Shabdan in Chon-Kemin National Park and includes horseback riding in its activity program. The camp also offers round-trip transfers in comfortable buses. The Shabdan section of the T-1 Botanical Tour includes tent camping at an altitude of 1,700 meters and, on a radial excursion from Shabdan, leads into the valley of the Chon-Kemin River.

The Chon-Kemin Tour includes dinner and an overnight stay with a local family in Shabdan. After the overnight stay, a horseback riding tour begins the following morning in Kalmak-Ashuu. After visiting the high-altitude lakes Jashyl Kol and Chelek, the tour returns to Shabdan for an overnight stay.

Culture
