The Talas Valley stretches for 230 kilometers between the Kyrgyz Range and the Talas Ala-Too. The meadow-forest zone of the Talas Region around the Kyrgyz Range and the Talas Ala-Too supports tourism at elevations of 1,600 to 2,800 meters.

On the northern side of the city, a large forest park is located next to branches of the Talas River. Both are listed as natural visitor attractions in the Talas Region.
