The Vizlas Nature Trail is a clearly defined one-way route measuring 1.2 km. It follows the bends of the Vizla River and ends at its confluence with the Gauja. For more extensive route planning, two circular hiking trails are available in Vireši municipality. Both begin and end in the center of Vidaga. The Vireši Big Loop leads from the village of Vidaga through picturesque forests, along the steep banks of the Gauja, and past dolomite quarries to the Vizla rapids and dolomite outcrops. The different trail formats allow you to choose between a short one-way trail and a more extensive circular hike without confusing the distances.

The Randatu Nature Trail begins approximately 1 km upstream from the Vireši Bridge on the right bank of the Gauja. This location is relevant to specific day planning if you would like to include the trail in your trip. At Trīs Laivā, the Vireši–Mežrozītes route is also listed as one of the most popular routes, measuring 22 km and taking 5–7 hours.

The Vizlas Nature Trail is located in the specially protected Ziemeļgauja landscape area. The trails connect different landscape elements, including river bends, steep Gauja banks, forests, dolomite quarries, and natural dolomite outcrops. The Randātu Cliffs rise 25 m above the Gauja. They are presumably the highest natural dolomite outcrop in Latvia at present.

The Vizlas Arch Bridge is also one of the area's notable landmarks. It is considered Latvia's oldest dolomite arch bridge. Together with the nature trails, it creates a focal point for travelers who want to combine river landscapes and geological features with regional history.

The Mājvieta exhibition introduces visitors to the history of Vireši municipality as well as the life and work of poet Kornēlija Apškrūma.
