Ryškėnai is home to the A. Gedvilas Folk Art Courtyard Museum, also known as the Manor of the Samogitian King Ringaudas. Anyone wishing to book a hotel in Ryškėnai can continue their accommodation search afterwards.

The members of the Ryškėnai village community and believers marked the 25th anniversary of the Šv. Brunono Kverfurtiečio koplyčia with a Mass and a celebration at the cultural centre. The Ryškėnai Cultural Centre also organises summer creative camps for children and young people.

In 2025, Ryškėnai hosted the nationwide folk music ensemble festival “Eikim vyrai pas mergas”. The regional live music group festival “Akordų mūšis” was also held there that year. The dance festival “Onyte, einam su manim pašokti 2025” likewise took place in Ryškėnai in 2025. The festival “Ryškėnų vasara žemaitiškai” traditionally began with sports competitions in the Žemaitija region.

Cuisine

On 20 June 2025, the traditional festival “Ryškėnų vasara su Jonais ir Janinomis” took place in Ryškėnai Park. The festival featured a presentation of Samogitian cuisine, where traditional dishes were sampled and preparation methods were explained.

Geographical Location

The Telšiai–Žarėnai road runs through Ryškėnai. Šutrijos Kalnas, Kalnas Alka and Kietkalnis are each hills in the wider regional surroundings of Ryškėnai.
