On 20 June 2025, the traditional festival “Ryškėnų vasara su Jonais ir Janinomis” took place in Ryškėnai Park. The festival featured a presentation of Samogitian cuisine, where traditional dishes were sampled and preparation methods were explained.

The Telšiai–Žarėnai road runs through Ryškėnai. Šutrijos Kalnas, Kalnas Alka and Kietkalnis are each hills in the wider regional surroundings of Ryškėnai.
