Before the Second World War, Osolin was historically known as Esdorf. After a post-war period during which the village was called Dębowa, the name Osolin was later restored.

Getting Around

The aforementioned regional hiking trail uses Oborniki Śląskie railway station on the Wrocław–Rawicz line as an access point.
