The subregion encompasses the Vistula and Wieprz rivers as well as oxbow lakes, river bends, meanders, and riverside plant communities, which give the river corridors a varied and scenic character.

Geographical setting

Ryki County is located in the northwestern part of the Lublin Voivodeship and is the westernmost county in the region.
