History and Surroundings

In 1379, Władysłław Opolczyk granted Ogorzelnik, together with Bobolice and Tomiszowice, to the Hungarian Andrzej Schony de Barlabas.

Bobolice Castle, the ruins of Mirów Castle and Berkowa are located in the immediate vicinity of Ogorzelnik. The surrounding area includes the ruins of Morsko Castle, Góra Zborów and Ostrężnicka Cave.
