Culture

The fortified Evangelical church preserves the triumphal arch of a Romanesque basilica from the 13th century. Its Gothic choir was built in the 15th century and has a stone rib vault supported by consoles decorated with masks. The baptismal font from 1741 bears inscriptions in Latin and German, which are also mentioned in an 18th-century church register. The enclosing wall from the 14th and 15th centuries had a fortified entrance with a drawbridge or portcullis and a machicolation opening.
