The Muzeul Arta Lemnului was founded in 1936 and is the only museum in Romania devoted exclusively to wood art. The museum has 19 exhibition halls and an open-air area with two traditional houses: a Hutsul house from the 17th century and another house from the mid-18th century.

The Rarău Massif reaches an elevation of 1,650 m. The Pietrele Doamnei Nature Reserve covers 568 ha and consists of three limestone obelisks reaching elevations of up to 1,633 m.

Cheile Moara Dracului is a 10-ha geological protected area at the northeastern foot of Rarău. It lies in the upper reaches of the Valea Caselor stream and is located 10.5 km from the center of Câmpulung Moldovenesc. The centuries-old elm trees at Pârâul Morii are considered a natural monument, are approximately half a millennium old and lie on the boundary between Câmpulung Moldovenesc and the municipality of Sadova.
