Gorgova: Waterways, History and Lake Gorgova

Gorgova was founded because of the abundance of fish in the surrounding area and its location on the most important navigable waterway, the Sulina branch, and was able to endure there over time. Waterways and history represent two distinct points of reference for the locality.
