Komarovsky Market is perhaps the most important place in Minsk for residents to buy fresh fruit, vegetables, and meat. Komarovka can be divided into two main shopping areas. The first is inside the covered pavilion, where meat, meat products, preserves, and sweets are sold. The second area is the so-called open market, where several sections are covered. Here, residents of Minsk buy fruit, vegetables, and fish. Along the market stalls, the kiosks offer even more groceries. You can buy grains, olive and sunflower oil, preserves, and juices here.

Prices at Komarovsky Market are slightly lower than in regular shops, and the range of goods is much wider. Perhaps that is why Komarovka is so popular with shoppers.
