The photo of Komarovsky market
On the photo is Komarovsky market in Minsk. Komarovsky market, or Komarovka, is the most famous market of the capital of Belarus. It is located on the street of Vera Horuzhaya, near the Yakub Kolas Square. You can get there by metro of the Moscovskaya line reaching the station of Yakub Kolas Square.
Komarovsky market is, perhaps, the most important place in Minsk, where the citizens are buying fresh fruits, vegetables and meat. Komarovka can be divided into two main shopping areas. The first one is located in the covered pavilion. It is mainly specialized in trading of meat, meat products, canned food and sweets. The second area is the so-called open market, which consist of several roofed shopping lines. Here citizens buy vegetables and fruits, as well as fish. The grocery is in the kiosks along the shopping lines. Here you can buy cereals, olive and sunflower oil, canned food and juices.
The prices on the market a little lower than in conventional stores, and the range is much broader. Perhaps therefore Komarovka is still popular among the customers.
