Religious monuments include the Church of Saint Mary in Bishqethem, which is listed as a Category I cultural monument. The Church of Saint Kolli in Toshkëz was built in 1797 and received paintings by Johan and Nikolla Çetiri in 1813. It is located near the Lushnje–Berat road and is accessible by small cars and buses. The Kasharaj Bridge was built in the 12th to 13th centuries and is still in use today.

Nature

Lake Kasharaj is a natural attraction within the Bashkia Lushnje and provides the community and visitors with a place for recreation. Nearby, Lake Gjyshaj is located 15 km from Lushnje in the hills of Darsia; it is described as a picturesque landscape.

Lake Kupas is used for fishing and picnics. The village of Kupas lies in the hills of Lushnja and is known for its fruit trees. The Divjakë–Karavasta National Park is home to otters; it also has jackals, foxes, and badgers.

Cuisine

Visitors can experience local products and traditional cuisine in Lushnje. Myzeqe-style lakror is a thin homemade pastry made from dough, filled with spinach, leeks, zucchini, or spring onions. Yaprak and dollma are made from vine leaves or vegetables and filled with rice and spices.
