Wine and Cuisine

Uka Farm has a winery where indigenous Albanian wines are produced from grape varieties from the region. The farm also has a restaurant where farm produce is served according to the “farm-to-table” concept. It offers traditional dishes from the region, accompanied by wine from the on-site winery.

Toka Restaurant offers five- or seven-course menus with vegetarian and vegan options that change seasonally. The olive oil tasting includes typical snacks and local wine. It also explains how different Albanian olive oil varieties are tasted and assessed for quality; the tasting takes place only in spring.

At Uka Winery, the grapes are harvested by hand and grown organically using sustainable methods without pesticides.

Rural Landscape

Blerina Farm covers 10,000 m² of agricultural land and is home to several cows, sheep, goats and chickens. It does not use chemical fertilisers, instead turning the manure from its own animals into compost. Garden paths pass olive trees, typical Albanian flowers, grapevines and Mediterranean trees.

Blerina Agritourism includes an agritourism hotel with 11 rooms arranged around a courtyard. Blerina Agritourism invites visitors to take part in gardening and daily agricultural work or relax in a designated green area.

Farm Experiences

Staff at Blerina Agritourism can help children visit the vegetable gardens and feed the farm animals. In the designated area for parents with small children at Blerina Agritourism, children can take part in drawing, planting and cooking activities.
