The Church of Saints Peter and Paul stands on the historic market square. It is a Renaissance architectural monument from the 16th century. Construction began in 1588; the church was in operation by 1600 at the latest.

The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary was founded in 1590. A document from 1592 granted it land and further privileges. In 1743, a Baroque brick church was built on this site, and a Basilian monastery was also established there.
