Mogilev Town Hall is a restored architectural monument from the 17th century and houses the Museum of the History of Mogilev. Its tower is 47 m high and has an observation platform overlooking the Dnieper floodplain.

History
Star Square features a bronze sculpture of an astronomer with a telescope that forms the hand of a sundial. The square has twelve chairs representing the twelve zodiac signs; visitors can sit on them and admire the surrounding historic architecture.
The exhibition “Archaeology and Ancient History of the Mogilev Region” presents flint and stone tools, iron implements, ceramics, jewelry, and grains of cultivated plants. Dioramas in the exhibition depict mammoth hunting, fishing, pottery, as well as a cult site with burial mounds and a settlement. The exhibition is arranged in five halls and covers the material culture and economic activities of the population of the Mogilev Dnieper region from the Paleolithic to the Middle Ages.
The Mogilev Regional Museum of Local Lore documents rural life in the wider Mogilev region through towels, clothing, household items, wooden and clay tableware, textiles, tools, bridal attire, and traditional baked goods. At the Mogilev Regional Museum of Local Lore, interactive natural history programs featuring Ice Age animals, bird calls, fishing, animal tracks, and forest-related activities were offered as part of the cultural and educational event “Night of Museums.”
