Kobryn: Hotels and Accommodations

The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Kobryn was built in the Classical style and has been included in the list of historical and cultural values of Belarus. It dates back to 1513; the stone church building dates from 1843.

Twenty-five monuments are listed in Kobryn. They include Suvorov Park, the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Church of Saints Peter and Paul, Suvorov’s former manor house, military burial sites, the historic city center, and a bust of Suvorov. The Church of Saints Peter and Paul is active and is considered the oldest church in the city.

History

The Kobryn Military History Museum displays a memorial exhibition about Alexander Suvorov consisting of eight halls, as well as the 15-hall exhibition “Seven Centuries of Kobryn,” with an open-air exhibition of artillery and Soviet armored vehicles.
