North of Vustsye, 1.5 kilometres away and near the Dnieper, lies the Ustenskoye hillfort. It is located at the Podgoritsa tract, formerly called Gorodets. The site covers an area of 50 by 40 metres; on the field side, a curved rampart runs along it, approximately 4 metres high.

An archaeological investigation in 2007 uncovered iron objects at the Ustenskoye hillfort, including a stirrup, a sword pommel, an unidentified object and an iron ring. The ceramic assemblage includes pottery from the Iron Age and the Early Middle Ages.

The Muzey Yanki Kupaly is located in the surrounding area of Vustsye. Kobelyakskiye Porogi is also situated in the surrounding area. Gora Krutaya and Gora Gorodets are located in the wider regional area around Vustsye.
