Lukovit: Hotels and Accommodation

Within Lukovit Municipality, the “Magic of Panega” route includes the “Sergey Rumyantsev” house museum in Rumyantsevo as well as the open-air sculpture park in Petrevene. The route can be completed by car, includes sections on foot and can also be explored by bicycle.

Culture

The “Saznanie 1895” community cultural center in Lukovit was founded in 1895 and has a long tradition of amateur theater.

The Church of the Dormition at Karlukovo Monastery was built in the second half of the 16th century. It is accessible by transport and can be visited, although restrictions apply because of its location within the hospital grounds.

The Rock Church of St. Gregory near Karlukovo preserves fragmentary layers of frescoes from the 14th and 17th centuries.
