Nature and landscape

In Medven, the Zlosten karst area, a protected natural area covering 343.7 hectares, extends into the village area. It includes caves, sinkholes, distinctive karst formations, and an old beech forest. Anyone wishing to book a hotel in Medven can then continue searching for accommodation.
