In Nedelino, the local tradition of double singing is described as an independent singing tradition of the Rhodopes and as the only example of double singing in the Rhodopes. Around 350 songs have been collected and documented.
Culture
Nedelino hosts a national folklore festival with international participation dedicated to double singing and folk songs. It is organized by the municipality and the Ministry of Culture, usually on the first Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in September. The events traditionally take place in the town’s central square. The celebrations for St. George’s Day are held at the Turchin Bridge in Nedelino. Nedelino’s double singing was declared a Living Treasure of Bulgaria by the Ministry of Culture. In addition, Nedelino has 12 medieval bridges.

Getting Around
The Nedelino–St. Nedelya tourist trail was implemented as an integrated tourism product. The municipality of Nedelino can be reached by car and by bus. Road II-86 is described as a secondary road that crosses this part of the Rhodopes and runs along the route between Plovdiv, Smolyan, Nedelino, Zlatograd, and the Greek border near Xanthi. The municipality of Nedelino has a tourist information center, which opened in 2005.
