Coast and nature

The coast of Byala Municipality is steep and varied and is described as having an attractive coastal character. It includes rocky shores, small bays, sandy beaches, and sand dunes. Byala’s coastal beach is described together with deciduous forest.

White Rocks is accessible to visitors and features a continuous rock profile extending for approximately two kilometers, where the Cretaceous and Tertiary periods can be distinguished. The rocks contain fossils of prehistoric marine organisms, including sea urchins and mollusks.

Activities

The Chernomorets Sports Complex has a six-lane, 400-meter running track with a tartan surface, as well as a mini football field with artificial turf. The complex also has an outdoor fitness area and two streetball courts.

A multipurpose court is intended for tennis, volleyball, and basketball and has lighting for later use.

The White Rocks ATV Safari explores coastal areas of Byala and includes a stop at White Rocks. The route is approximately 32 kilometers long and takes around 90 minutes on average.

Local character

Byala is associated with viticulture and winemaking and is described as an area where Dimyat wine is produced. Winery No. 1 in the Ancient Fortress is a preserved production and storage complex with a lever screw press.
