Varna: Hotels and accommodation

The Roman Baths of Varna are among the city’s best-preserved ancient architectural monuments. Varna’s Natural History Museum is dedicated to the study and promotion of the organisms of the Black Sea and the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. It presents 1,036 exhibits in six exhibition halls.

The Varna Summer International Music Festival traces its tradition in Varna back to 1926. The city’s cultural calendar includes almost 50 festivals and hundreds of events throughout the year.

The Sea Garden stretches along the city’s waterfront and combines landscaped areas, quiet avenues, diverse vegetation and cultural monuments. In Varna and Varna Bay, there are opportunities for stand-up paddleboarding, wakeboarding, jet skiing, windsurfing, kitesurfing and sailing, with clubs, schools and equipment rental services available.

Varna’s central pedestrian zone runs from Independence Square via Knyaz Boris I Boulevard to the entrance of the Sea Garden. It includes cycle paths, direction signs, landscaped areas and accessible architecture.

Varna’s Sea Station has a panoramic terrace overlooking Varna Bay.

Bus 409 connects Varna Airport with the city centre in less than 20 minutes. Varna-East Port is 1 kilometre from the city centre and near Varna railway station.

Euxinograd Residence is open to tourists. The route there leads through the historic heart of the park, the greenhouses, the palace, to the sundial, the chapel and the winery building.
