Grabovnica Airfield is a destination for visitors interested in military exhibits. The outdoor exhibition includes a Lockheed T-33 and a MiG 21 BIS. The MiG 21 BIS displayed there actively took part in the Croatian War of Independence. The airfield was built in 1986 as an agricultural airfield. The open-air museum display at Grabovnica Airfield is described as being accessible for viewing year-round and with free admission.

The Chapel of the Immaculate Heart of Mary was built in 1905 or 1906 with contributions from Catholic and Orthodox villagers and extensively restored for its centenary. The Church of Prophet Amos—St Lazarus of Kosovo was built in 1868 and replaced an older wooden chapel on St Vid Hill. Its walls were decorated with frescoes. The tower roof was reconstructed after it collapsed around 2008.

Events

The rural estate of the Salaj family in Grabovnica is associated with the Salaj Family Christmas Story, which uses multicolored lights at Christmas. The Easter Story program at the Salaj estate includes performances, children's games, and local cuisine. The estate also presents an Easter display with multicolored lights and Easter eggs.

The Salaj family estate includes an old mill wheel, a waterfall on the Grabovnica River, lakes, bridges, and paths.

Getting around

The ÄŒazmaGravel routes are circular routes and can be joined at any point. ÄŒazmaGravel 1 reaches Grabovnica after the route passes through Vagovina and Bojana and runs along the airfield, a bioenergy plant, and a farm. ÄŒazmaGravel 2 reaches Grabovnica, turns left at a chapel, and then runs along the airfield, a bioenergy plant, and a farm.
