The Kalnik-Igrišće archaeological site in Borje is designated as a preventive-protected cultural asset. It is a multi-layered archaeological settlement with evidence from the Roman period and the Late Bronze Age. Excavations uncovered hearths and storage pits associated with food preparation and weaving.

The Poučna staza Kalnik is a five-kilometre circular route. The interpretation points along the route present the natural features, flora and fauna of Kalnik, as well as its importance for nature conservation.

The “Bike around Kalnik” route is 25 kilometres long and rated 4/5 for physical effort. Its surface consists of 50 percent macadam and 50 percent asphalt.
