The longer hike on the Terezijana educational trail can be combined with a prearranged car pickup in Sušanj Cesarički, instead of returning to Baške Oštarije along the same route. The Terezijana educational trail is intended exclusively for pedestrians.

Nature

Campanula fenestrellata is recorded at the old quarry in Sušanj Cesarički. The abandoned quarry in Sušanj is located next to the Gospić–Baške Oštarije–Karlobag road, at the junction with the Šušanj–Štirovača road. Three strictly protected taxa have been recorded at the site; four endemic taxa have also been documented there.

The water tank in Šušanj has a ramp that enables wild animals to get in and out after drinking.
