The local school in Kupinečki Kraljevec operated as an independent school from 1877 and celebrated its 100th anniversary in 1977; in 1958, it was affiliated with the school in Brezovica.

The fully preserved traditional farmstead of the Hobolić family comprises a residential building from 1924, a komora and hayloft from 1893, a barn with a hayloft, and a kitchen. At the Tradicijski objekt Lončar, a partially preserved traditional farmstead remains, consisting of a brick-built kitchen, a sukačnica with a bread oven, a woodshed and a well; these structures were built around 1935.

Ivanje is a recurring local tradition in Kupinečki Kraljevec that combines old customs, music, dance and community gatherings, welcoming guests of all generations. The 14th Ivanje in Kupinečki Kraljevec was organized by the Centar za kulturu Novi Zagreb, the Gradska četvrt Brezovica, the Vijeće MO Kupinečki Kreljevec 1, the Sportsko društvo Kupinečki Kraljevec, the KUD Kupinečki Kraljevec and the DVD Kupinečki Kraljevec.
