Anyone wishing to book a hotel in Rabac can then continue searching for accommodation. Rabac is an Adriatic resort on the eastern side of the Istrian Peninsula; the historic town of Labin is located above it.
Nature
Rabac has white pebble beaches and rich Mediterranean vegetation. Maslinica Beach is a 500-metre-long pebble beach. It offers water sports and an equipped area for people with disabilities.
Girandella Beach is a pebble beach with rocky and paved sections and is included in Istria’s list of beaches awarded in 2026. The promenade by Girandella Beach allows for cycling and walking. The tourist village of Girandella is also home to a well-known diving centre.
Lanterna Beach can be reached via footpaths through a wooded area; there is a lifeguard service there.
Culture and History
Until the middle of the 19th century, Rabac was a small fishing village with barely ten houses. The first hotel in Rabac, “Quarnaro”, opened on 11 June 1889. The “Rabac by Night” tour is conducted in English, German, Italian, Croatian and Czech.
Events
The Istrian Lifestyle Handmade and Gourmet Fair takes place on the Rabac waterfront every Thursday from 18 June to 10 September 2026.
