At the southern edge of Selina stands the Romanesque Chapel of Saint Lucia. It contains a Glagolitic inscription carved with the year 1568. Its façade was given a Baroque bell gable in the 17th century.

Selina is described as a place founded in 1556 by refugees from Dalmatia who fled the Ottoman conquests. Dvigrad Castle is located in the surrounding area. The area around Selina also includes the Soardo-Bembo Palace, Škaraba Beach, the Church of Sveti Mihovil, Veliki Breg, and the Church of Sveti Ivan.

Nature

Selina is situated on a slight elevation in a gently hilly landscape along the local Sveti Lovreč–Barat road. Gruja Vrh and Trba are located in the wider regional area.
