Juricani: Hotels and Accommodations

Several cycling routes pass through Juricani. A 30-kilometre trekking cycling route from Katoro runs through the village and then turns towards Istria’s wine roads and olive oil roads. The “From Neapolis to Novigrad” cycling route also passes through Juricani. In addition, the 31-kilometre route “The southern side of Umag and riding by the sea” also runs through Juricani.

Cycling

The programme of Gospa Snježna included an MTB cycling tour starting from Juricani. The Biciklijada od Juricani had a 35-kilometre course that started and ended in front of the Juricani sports centre. The route followed local roads through vineyards, olive groves and forests towards Matelići. The Biciklijada od Juricani was described as a moderately difficult tour for more experienced recreational cyclists; helmets were mandatory.

Culture

Gospa Snježna is a local folk festival in Juricani-Giurizzani. The programme included sports competitions, culinary offerings, dancing and entertainment.

Culinary experiences

In the nearby area, Sole in Donji Picudo, Sošići, offers fish, fuži with porcini mushrooms and black truffle, as well as game with gnocchi. Also nearby, Coronica focuses its production mainly on the indigenous grape varieties Malvazija and Teran. The Coronica winery in Koreniki offers a tasting room for up to 50 people by prior arrangement.
