An official 31-km cycling route passes through Kmeti and follows the circular route Umag (Katoro)–Murine–Kmeti–Buščina–Farnežine–Vardica–Juricani–Čepljani–Lovrečica–Špina–Katoro. It is described as an easy official route, is fully paved, and has an estimated cycling time of 2:30–3:00 hours.

On the cycling route, you reach a somewhat busier road in Kmeti; cyclists are advised to exercise caution there. Culture and History

Kmeti is listed among Umag’s registered civil cultural assets as a water reservoir and public fountain.

In the immediate vicinity of Kmeti, Kmeti and Sveta Marija na Krasu form a contiguous settlement area. In the neighbouring settlement stands the single-nave Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Grace, built in the 16th century on the site of an older church and restored in 1991; its bell tower dates from 1930.

Near Kmeti, the Museum of Umag displays archaeological objects from Roman times, including amphorae, oil lamps and Roman vessels. It also uses part of its premises for exhibitions by contemporary artists.

Near Kmeti, Stancija Seget is a three-winged estate with a symmetrical Baroque layout. The central building dates from the 18th century, while most of the agricultural buildings date from the 19th century.

Water

Near Kmeti, Savudrija has a rocky beach 30 metres from the lighthouse. The winds and sea currents of Savudrija support windsurfing, while the clear rocky seabed is suitable for diving.
