Oklaj: Hotels and Accommodation

The building complex in the centre of Oklaj, with the Ottoman watchtower built in Oklaj and referred to in 16th-century documents as the “Bandalović Tower”, is recognised as a significant asset of the rural setting and as a resource for tourism development. Most finds from the historical period in question were made in Oklaj and Puljani.

Oklaj has hosted the “Prominski bronzin” gastronomy event, which is associated with traditional dishes from Promina. The “Prominske igre” is a traditional event that recalls older customs and competitions; the first edition took place in 1949.
