Archaeology

In the vicinity of Prgomet, Jurina (Mujina) Cave is located in Labin, within the municipality of Prgomet. It is a Middle Paleolithic archaeological site with cultural layers and animal remains. The animal remains are dated to approximately 39,000 to 45,000 years ago. For visits and research, an access road, a connection to a Roman road, and visitor parking were under development.
