Trolokve: Hotels and Accommodation

Trolokve is a settlement in the Zagora area of Split-Dalmatia County. The A7 cycling stage Šibenik–Kaštel Stari passes the Church of St. Stephen and its cemetery before reaching Trolokve.

Cycling and routes

The Prgomet–St. Stephen Church–St. Anthony–St. Vincent Chapel road cycling circuit passes Trolokve 5.3 kilometres after its start in Prgomet. The local road network connects the hamlets of Bašići, Konse, Gluići, Bačići, Kesići, Grgići and Šerići with local or county roads. A separate road connects the Church of St Stipan via Put Gospe od Anđela to County Road 6112.

Culture

Trolokve belongs to the Parish of St. Anthony of Padua, based in Primorski Dolac. The Church of St. Stephen in Trolokve is one of the churches belonging to this parish. With the support of the Municipality of Prgomet, it was renovated; its presbytery and altar were excluded.

The local calendar marks the Feast of “Our Lady of the Angels” on 2 August. Trolokve’s cultural heritage inventory includes the Church of St Stipan, traditional rural buildings in the hamlets of Šerići and Borzići, and a historic cistern at the entrance to Jadriće.

The area surrounding Trolokve includes Biluš Planina, Opor and Krpušnjak. The surroundings of Prgomet are considered green, and their fertile red soil is used for growing crops.

The wider regional surroundings of Trolokve include Crni Vrh, Telegrin and Dalmatia, as well as the Mestrovic Gallery, the Archaeological Museum and the Palais de Dioclétien de Split.
