Zagvozd: Hotels and Accommodations

Culture

The Glumci u Zagvozdu theater festival has been held since 1998. The Municipality of Zagvozd is home to medieval stećak tombstones, including the Vukov greb sarcophagus. Such monuments can be found in Župa Biokovska, Rastovac and Zagvozd.

The Church of All Saints in Zagvozd dates from the 17th century and was restored in 1973. The Church of the Great Assumption in Zagvozd also dates from the 17th century.

The Old Napoleon Road is described as a possible addition to Zagvozd’s tourist offering. Local traditions of beekeeping, growing medicinal plants, blacksmithing, weaving, making string instruments, and stonework are also mentioned.
