Suchá: Hotels and accommodation

A walk to the outskirts of Suchá leads, among other places, to the Church of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus; it dates from the 1920s. From “Pašerák”, a path leads left between the houses to a small romantic pond.

Regional cycle route 2005 follows the former railway line to Jáchymov, then continues uphill along Dvořákova ulice to the Suchá settlement. It runs predominantly along paved gravel and forest paths. You can join cycle route 2011 in the Suchá settlement by the football pitch.

The “Ze Suché na úpatí Meluzíny a Macechy” route starts and ends in Suchá u Jáchymova at the Suchá–Léno turnoff.

The mountains Klínovec and Popovský kříž are located in the immediate surroundings of Suchá. The surrounding area also includes Vlčí hřbet mountain [Jáchymov], Božidarský Špičák mountain, and Schlackenwerth Monastery.

The wider regional surroundings of Suchá include the “Bärenstein, Erlöserkirche” church, the “Annaberg-Buchholz, former Franciscan monastery” monastery, and the “Cranzahl, Himmelfahrtskirche” church.
