Doubi: Hotels and Accommodation
In Doubí, evidence of a long history meets landscapes and natural attractions in the surrounding area. The name of Doubí Castle has been documented since the mid-14th century, while Doubí Château acquired its Baroque appearance between 1739 and 1756.
History and Culture
The château also had a park: in the 17th century, a park with a viewing terrace was created at Doubí Château. Open year-round, the Vánoční dům in Doubí is a special attraction featuring an exhibition of Christmas ornaments and decorations. It is the first and only Christmas house in the Czech Republic. The Andělská Café at Vánoční dům serves Christmas pastries and Vánočka.
Nature
Doubí is located in the Slavkov Forest Protected Landscape Area. At the Svatý Linhart game reserve, visitors can explore a freely accessible area of 40 hectares. A network of bridges leads along the route there, reaching heights of up to six metres in places.
Trails and Experiences
The Svatý Linhart treetop trail includes two wooden tree houses and a viewing platform. Walkable footbridges connect these elements.
From Doubí, visitors can climb up to the former “Sv. Linhart” excursion restaurant and try out attractions at the climbing centre there.
The Ohře Valley, accessible from Doubí, can only be reached on foot or by bicycle. The starting point of the route through the Ohře Valley can be reached from the Tržnice stop by MHD bus no. 6.
