Lesov: Hotels and Accommodation
Lesov is a biotope set amid a landscape shaped by agriculture. Bukový vrch, Travný vrch, Popovský kříž and Vlčinec are located in the surrounding area. Schlackenwerth Monastery is situated near Lesov. In the wider regional surroundings of Lesov are Bärenstein and the Church of the Redeemer, as well as Cranzahl and the Church of the Assumption.
Culture and History
One historical reference associated with the town is Concordia Lesov: the company was founded in 1888 by Ernst Máder. After the Second World War, Concordia Lesov became part of the Karlovarský porcelán company. In 2009, Thun 1794 acquired Concordia Lesov, including the brand and technical equipment.
A guided tour was offered at the workshop in Lesov, where visitors could see the handmade production of a cup or saucer, as well as hand-glazing.
Cycle Path
The Karlovy Vary section of National Cycle Route No. 6 runs via the settlement of Sedmidomky and past Lake Mexiko to a junction near Lesov. This junction is marked on National Cycle Route No. 6 at kilometre 21.5.
