Údrc: Hotels and accommodations

The Za Údrčí Nature Monument protects the scarce large blue butterfly (Euphydryas aurinia) and its habitats in periodically wet purple moor-grass meadows of the Molinion alliance. Za Údrčí is home to a significant population of the scarce large blue butterfly.

Za Údrčí encompasses relatively well-preserved communities of non-forested formations and a nutrient-rich pond ecosystem with high species diversity. Green frogs are common there; the presence of fire-bellied toads (Bombina bombina) has also been recorded.

A nature trail runs through the Za Údrčí Nature Monument and focuses on the mining carried out there in past centuries.

The Church of Saint Linhart in Údrč was probably built in the mid-14th century and remodeled in the Baroque style in the 1730s. It is occasionally accessible. The church can be reached via a seven-section staircase with a lockable gate; a second gate on the northeastern side of the property provides access to the Church of Saint Linhart in Údrč.

Údrč Château was created from a Renaissance fortress originally built around the mid-16th century. The original fortress was converted into a Baroque château by the Lauenburkové in the 17th century.

The Gothic water castle of Údrč was built no later than the first half of the 14th century. The former Gothic water castle is preserved as a circular castle mound with visible remains of foundation walls and a partially water-filled moat. The castle site of the Údrč fortress was entered into the state register of historic monuments as a protected cultural monument on 3 May 1958.

Údrč is located about 1 km from the I/6 main road between Prague and Karlovy Vary. Regular bus services to Žlutice run there via Bochov; the bus stop is located at the turnoff to Údrč.
