Cycle route 4247, known as “Hřebenovka”, runs through Těpeře from Železný Brod via Těpeře and Pěnčín to Dolní Černá Studnice.

T. J. Sokol Těpeře organizes the “Těpeřský maratón a půlmaratón” mountain bike competition. The 2025 “Těpeřský maratón a půlmaratón” mountain bike race featured 42 km and 21 km routes. The route of the 2025 Těpeře race alternated between asphalt, grass, gravel, macadam and coniferous forest floor covered with roots.

Events and local offerings

The “Těpeřský Puchýř” walking event offered routes of 5, 13, 20, 30 and 45 km. During the day, the “Těpeřský Puchýř” featured an accompanying program at the sports field by the Sokolovna, as well as refreshments.

On November 11, 2023, Těpeře hosted a traditional autumn amateur table tennis tournament for the second time. On October 28, 2023, creative Halloween pumpkin-carving workshops were held in Těpeře again following the success of the previous year. Pumpkin soup was prepared from the surplus pumpkin flesh.

Valdštejn Church is located near Těpeře. Maršovicky vrch lies in the immediate vicinity of Těpeře. The mountains of Černá Studnice, Pustina and Mariánská hora are also located near Těpeře.
