The sandstone cross stands beside the bell tower on the site of an earlier wooden cross. Augustin Humplík placed its surviving fragment inside the tower. This brings together two materials and two periods: the earlier wooden cross and its sandstone successor, funded in 1909.

A story of its own is also associated with the bell. It bears the inscriptions “Sanctus Maria” and “Sanctus Johanesa” and the year 1732. During the Protectorate, it was confiscated, taken as far as Prague and later returned. The account of the Kozelský family from house number 12 dates their bell-ringing tradition to 1818; this does not imply a daily visitor programme.

The tower’s facade was repaired at the municipality’s expense in 1999, and its doors were replaced in 2011. These completed works explain changes to the building but do not promise that visitors can enter today. For visitors, the village square is first and foremost a named historical point of reference.

The memorial to the victims of the First World War is also a place of remembrance for T. G. Masaryk. A bust was unveiled for his eightieth birthday on 7 March 1930. It was created by the sculptor Sosna, a student of the Olomouc sculptor Pelikán. The specific connection between remembrance, an individual and artistic work makes this place easier to understand than a simple list of attractions.

The Rybníček cultural and sports complex is described as hosting dance events and discos in summer. Leisure competitions in volleyball and football are also mentioned.
