Cotkytle: Hotels and Accommodation

The parish church of the Ascension of the Lord in Cotkytle is first mentioned in 1350. In 1726, it was completely rebuilt and dedicated to Saint John of Nepomuk.

A stone cross was erected by the church in 1797. Another stone cross in Cotkytle was erected around the turn of 1856/1857. An iron cross on a stone pedestal was erected near Cotkytle in 1883.

COTKYTLéto was held for the second time in 2024 as a family music mini-festival. Local and regional artists performed at this second edition, and there was also a children's program.

The Sraz rodáků a přátel obce was an annual gathering of former residents and friends of the municipality in Cotkytle. At the 2024 gathering, the NOA band played music for listening and dancing throughout the day and evening.

Poslední leč is a recurring hunting event in Cotkytle. The 2024 program included game specialties, dancing to the Méďa Band, and a raffle.

The pilgrimage program in Cotkytle on May 14 and 15, 2022 included an evening of dancing, refreshments at the cultural center, and children's attractions.

With the exception of one year during the Covid period, TJ Cotkytle organizes an annual cycling tour to a fishery in the Polish border region. Tělovýchovná jednota Cotkytle organized a cycling tour to a fishery in Kamieńczyk for June 21, 2026; the meeting point was in front of the municipal office in Cotkytle at 9 a.m.

The Pochod Viliama Havrdy was held for the first time in 2023 and for the second time in 2024 as an organized march between Cotkytle and the chapel in Janoušov. Refreshment opportunities were available along the 8 km route of the first edition in 2023.
