ŘÃpec: Hotels and Accommodation
ŘÃpec is located predominantly on an east-facing slope. The highest part of the hill is called Strážka and lies 455 m above sea level.

Nature
The Lužnice Nature Monument also extends across the cadastral area of ŘÃpec. The Klobasná Forest still contains the remains of prehistoric burial mounds.
Culture
The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary was built between 1881 and 1885. It is possible to look inside the church; wooden sculptures of Saint Hubert and Saint Florian stand on its grounds. A wooden sculpture from the workshop of a local woodcarver can be found at the Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk in ŘÃpec. The chapel on the outskirts of ŘÃpec has also been reconstructed.

Getting Around
ŘÃpec–Dráchov railway station is accessible without barriers on all platforms. The 41 km-long Route X of KÄŒT Tábor passes through ŘÃpec and Klobásná Forest and ends at Veselà nad Lužnicà railway station. A cycling trip from ŘÃpec passes along an old oak avenue.
Events
The ŘÃpecká pouÅ¥ is a traditional event that always takes place in mid-August. The programme includes a competition for the best potato salad.
