Culture

The niche chapel dates back to 1695. It stands at a former crossroads in the open countryside between Cehnice and Jinín. Due to its location in the open countryside, it has an exceptional role in shaping the landscape.

The Chapel of the Holy Trinity stands on the edge of the village green in the center of Cehnice. It is a simple village-green chapel with elements of folk Baroque. In front of it stands a cross on a stone pedestal dating from 1830. Cycle Route No. 1072 runs past it.

History

The Cehnice fortress is mentioned around 1342 as the property of Rudolf of Cehnice. It is located on the eastern edge of the village, south of the Cehnický stream. Its grounds are not open to the public.
