Culture and history

The first written mention of Přeborov dates from 1488. Until 1575, the village belonged to the Milevský klášter monastery. A war memorial in Přeborov commemorates the victims of the First World War. It depicts a soldier leaning on a contemporary rifle.

In 1937, a presumably Hallstatt-period cremation burial site was discovered in a small grove behind Přeborov. It is a mound north of the village.

Events

Přeborov regularly hosts cultural, sporting, and social events. Regular events include a pilgrimage at the beginning of July.
