Předmíř is characterized by ponds, meadows, and wooded islands. The landscape around the village is suitable for walking and cycling. At the same time, there are specific connections here to bodies of water, the Brdy Mountains, and protected natural areas.

Nature and landscape

When completely filled, the Metelský Pond covers 51 hectares. The northern part of the Předmíř municipal area directly borders the Brdy Mountains. The Metelský Stream flows into the Lomnice in Předmíř. Divák Pond is one of several ponds along the course of the Metelský Stream and the Lomnice in Předmíř.

The Předmířská lípa is a tree protected as a natural monument and classified as an individual tree. It was first designated as a protected tree on July 5, 2001.

Regional biocorridor RBK 274 connects Metelské rybníky and Zahorčice. The regional biocentre RBC 855 „Metelské rybníky“ is also designated in Předmíř.

Pastvina u Zahorčic, a protected natural monument, is located in the vicinity of Předmíř. It is designated as a Natura 2000 site with Molinia meadows on calcareous, peaty, or clay-loamy soils and comprises the remains of a complex of intermittently wet pastures with rare and endangered plant and animal species.

Routes and culture

Cycle route 1063 passes through Předmíř and runs from Zámlyní through the village to Zahorčice and Lnáře. Thus, the cycle route is named as a specific point of reference in the village, just like the landscape, which is suitable for walking and cycling.
