Landscape

The Nihošovický stream flows through the Radkovice district. Mount Chlum is located in the vicinity of Úlehle. The nearby area also includes the hill (Mlať) [Zahorčice u Volyně], Vejřice Hill [Nihošovice-Jetišov] and Hradiště Hill [Libětice].

A yellow-marked hiking trail leads from the Pod Kbílem starting point to the Kbílský dolmen. The dolmen is stable, so visitors can safely walk underneath it. The Úlehle, Švejcarova Lhota, rozc.3.0 bus stop is located directly at the Pod Kbílem starting point.

History and Culture

The first written mention of Úlehle dates from 1318. Historical sources referred to Úlehle as Aulehle or Oulehle; in 1924, the municipality was renamed Úlehli.

In the Švejcarova Lhota district of the municipality of Úlehle stands a chapel from 1851 dedicated to Saint Adalbert. In the Radkovice district, there is an old chapel on the road towards Čestice.

The ruins of the Radomysl Mediumwave Radio Mast are located in the wider regional surroundings of Úlehle.
