Jedovnice is home to the base of SINGLETRAIL Moravský kras, located directly by Olšovec Pond. The pond covers 42 hectares; its dam is 8 m high and 640 m long at the crest. Culture and History
The present-day Church of St Peter and Paul in Jedovnice was built between 1783 and 1785; however, the foundations of the tower date back to 1681. The church contains an altar by Mikuláš Medek and Jan Koblasa. Outside of services, it can be visited by arrangement with the spiritual administrator.
The RudickĂ© propadánĂ and KolĂbky route can be started directly from Jedovnice via the green hiking trail. It passes the remains of the former Salmová ironworks from the 18th century, where iron ore was processed.
