Stálky: Hotels and accommodations

The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Stálky was originally built in the late Gothic style and remodeled in the Baroque style in 1631. Opposite the church stands an old statue of Saint John of Nepomuk; it was repaired and reconsecrated in 2017. Behind Stálky are wayside shrines dating from 1755.

The residents' former occupations are also part of the village's history: they once produced wood tar and charcoal and exported them. The ruins of Schloßberg are located in the vicinity of Stálky. The wider regional area also includes Karlslust Castle and Wildberg Castle.

Stálky extends along both sides of a road. The gable-fronted houses face the road and have front gardens. The village green is a broad meadow.

The mountains Kreuzberg, Goggitschberg, Kohlberg, and Síbeňák are located around Stálky. Another scenic landmark in the wider regional area is the Papstwarte lookout point.

The section of EuroVelo 13 in the Znojmo region runs from Uherčice via Stálky to Šafov. The EuroVelo 13 section in the Znojmo region and the Austrian border area is 130 km long and rated with three stars.

The cycling route from Vranov to Frejštejn also passes through Stálky, where the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is located; the route then continues to Šafov. On this cycling route, 24.60 % of the distance consists of field and forest paths and 75.39 % of roads.
