Cidlina: Hotels and Accommodation

The Blatná hráz Nature Reserve is located in the cadastral area of the municipality of Cidlina. It covers 4.46 hectares and was designated in 2002. Blatná hráz includes a floodplain along the naturally meandering Šebkovický potok, with remnants of alder stands accompanying the stream. The forests around Cidlina offer opportunities for mushroom picking; species mentioned include porcini, chanterelles, and boletes.

The early settlement of Cidlina consisted of fewer than ten farmsteads arranged around an oval village green. This was aligned lengthwise along the course of the Cidlinský potok. Historically, the settlement area was influenced by the Haberská stezka, which, according to historians, connected Znojemsko with Polabí as early as prehistoric times.

A monument to the victims of the 1914–1918 World War, dating from 1932, stands on the village green in Cidlina. There is also a wooden bell tower there. A masonry chapel stands by House No. 40 on the road to Bitovánky.

Den medu is one of the traditional events held annually in Cidlina. At the 2019 Den medu market, bee products, honey specialties, candles, honey gingerbread, and other local products were offered.

Road II/410 Třebíč–Jemnice–Hluboká–state border runs through the cadastral area of Cidlina. Bus connections link Cidlina with the surrounding area.

The Zahrada Cidlina recreation and relaxation area in the center of Cidlina was scheduled to be ceremonially opened to the public on June 11, 2016. Zahrada Cidlina includes a pavilion, sets of benches and tables, bicycle racks, and an information board with a map.
